VOV-Masterclass: Clark Quinn - Creating Learning Technology Strategies

The VOV-Masterclass contains four parts, exploring aspects of Learning Technology Strategy in the Information Age, presented by international speaker and author Clark Quinn.

Across four 2 hours sessions, we will explore in detail the landscape of a learning technology ecosystem, including formal learning, performance support, and informal/social learning. We’ll look at what each offers, and how they complement each other, as well as what it means to get them right. We’ll look at the complementary aspect, a learning culture, and then you’ll be guided to develop a strategy to get from where you are to where you’d like to go. The structure of the programme is as follows:

• Part 1: A learning technology ecosystem: what it is, why it’s important, and why we’re not there yet.
• Part 2: Optimal execution: formal learning and performance support, getting right the components for the things we know we need to do.
• Part 3: Continual innovation: what informal and social learning are, what L&D can do, and why it should.
• Part 4: Creating a viable ecosystem: getting started and the issues in strategy and culture to optimize organizational learning.

The experience of the Masterclass will be based on collaborative exploration of the essential elements. VOV will provide participants with copies of the key supporting book: Revolutionize Learning & Development: Performance & Innovation Strategy for the Information Age.
